More of the same stuff. They are working on the air handler, which has made the sanctuary roughly the temperature of a dessert on a hot day. That's pretty much it.

June 16

I leave for one week, and I come back to a real construction zone! Maybe I should leave more often. Any who, they have dug the footers for the new office complex. (I think that is what they call it, it looks like a giant swimming pool to me!) They brought the Ashley trailer but it doesn't look like anyone can occupy it. OH, and the great big news...they moved the air handler! That was quite a show. I think we are in full swing of constructionness (yes, I know that is not a word). I should probably learn some construction lingo. Enjoy the pictures!

June 3

Kevin, my new best friend, started working on the storage closets today. He made it look like a construction zone, so that made me happy. We are still waiting for the construction trailer, which will make it all look real. The drop down plastic isn't tightly secured, so if you are trying to peak, be careful...it will fall on you!! Not that I would know that! :)

I will be away from the church for the next week but as soon as I return, I will update the site.

We cleaned out the closets today. Thanks to Debbie, Terri, PV, Peggy, Joann, Jim, Brad, and five very wonderful Cov. Cath. boys, we got it done in seven hours! Now we have our very own scavenger hunt at the church! :) It was a very long day, and I am very happy that it is over. I am ready for something to start!

They poured concrete today! I assume that the air handler will be moved soon. AND...they dropped off the dumpster. We look like we are ready to start a building project.

We have three beautiful trees in our worship space. It took 8 guys and some massive equipment to get them in but it looks great! I am so excited...next, concrete

After a two week resting period, I think we are back in the construction game. I arrived to work this morning and was greeted with two very large trees in the parking lot. There have been many green things hanging out in our parking lot, if only they would find a home in our meditation garden. There have been men milling around that area all morning looking important. We will see what they do!
